“We called it… the traveler. And its arrival changed us forever. Great cities were built on Mars and Venus. Mercury became a garden world. Human life span tripled. It was a time of miracles. We stared out at the galaxy and knew that it was our destiny to walk in the light of other stars. But the traveler had an enemy. A darkness which had hunted it for eons through the dark tracts of space… this darkness found us and that was the end of everything.”
This baby blanket I sleep with. It’s more of a comfort thing really, but it helps. Even if I do look like a giant baby.
22. What is the prettiest place you have been?
The trail by Lake Catherine here. It’s just so scenic and when you get to the end of the trail it’s definitely worth it because theres a giant pool of water and a waterfall and it’s just neat.
24. Would you ever live in New York City? Why?
No. I get extremely nervous in big crowds of people and tall buildings terrify me. I’m sort of a buzzkill. :x
28. Who is there in your life that you would take a bullet for?
Oh man. As queer as this is going to be to say, I do mean it. Probably Roderick just because he’s the only person I feel like *right now* in my life would do the same. He’s taken quite a few figurative bullets for me already.
70. Is there any job you would want to work for 50 years?
Animal rescue. Hands down it is the only thing I could see myself doing for that long. I go through periods where I get really interested in one thing and then it wears off and this has been one of those things I’ve been interested in since I was little.
I hope to make more people here aware that bats are not scary and actually super cute. I hope you think so too!
Drawn on white postcards with a Pentel brushpen and Copic markers.
